i have so much admiration for Mike. The peace he has found in his later years is that of a monk. All the losses and hardships he went through helped him become a monster and he harnessed it so well. He is so extremely wise and caring and funny. I’ve never been a huge boxing fan but i’ve seen every one of his fights. I wish i could sit and have a conversation with him. Wish him a long and happy life.

Mike Tyson was always a peaceful man in his heart even in the ring. Every time he destroyed an opponent Mike was always rushing for them, to comfort them with warm words , to hug them, helping them to get up. Mike had respect of his opponents. Mike was able to differentiate between a fight and the human being.

For me personally, boxing will always be Mike Tyson. Tyson name alone feels so legendary powerful to me, like I can feel the energy and damage it could cost. Something I never felt for another athlete's name.

Can we all just appreciate how grateful we are to still have Mike Tyson around with us, despite his upbringing and Mike is still in great condition as well.

His upbringing was a lot better then some. I wont beat around the bush, the first part of his life was definitely ruff but around 13 years old Cus D'amato found him and turned his life around big time. I remember Mike telling the story and saying that at first he thought about robbing this old fool but Cus actually won Mike over because Mike realized Cus truly cares about him. He even officially adopted Mike as his son and Mike lived with him. Cus was far from poor so Mike actually lived in luxury most of his life.
