I love the first audition so much. She was nervous but she dug deep & overcame it & sang SO beautifully. Such a tough song & she nailed it!!

I never really understood the song “Chandelier” before. Probably because it hits too close to home. After watching the man who sang it here, I’m sobbing in my apartment, alone, and I can’t stop. Sia said she was in a bad place mentally and career wise, and she knew she had to change her ways (habits). 'Chandelier' is the result of her revelations. Tbh, Sia could write a song about putting an Ikea table together, and it would be amazing bc she is Midas.

They all did so amazing singing those songs. And even before knowing the first girl story of why she chose that song, the pain is evidential visually and through how she sang it.

That woman has 10 times the voice janis joplin ever had. Joplin had an intense presence but the way she opened this song and just rolled into the lyric was stunning.

Kevin is my favorite, really love, after the first three judges turned, how he threw his soul on stage in a way that even his partner broke down and cried, properbly never saw him sing like that. After the first audition most contestents get a bit more polished still great but i'm usually missing the sincerity and purity after the first audition. Really a fan of first auditions makes me cry sometimes :)

I was literally in tears listening to Bohemian Rapsody from the first 3 notes!!! ... & I still have tears streaming down 3 singers later! NEVER happened to me .. ever before!
