When Kyrgios is serious about it, he looks unstoppable. Well done!
@Alexandros Xintaras 😂😂😂😂
@Shezad Majumder nay if he had his day easy win. Id love to see him vs thiem again
@Alexandros Xintaras we Will Talk tomorrow
@Ignacio Ramos YES HE'LL WIN IT
The audacity to do a dropshot in a match point - that’s why we love Kyrgios
he brings something completely different to the table. big respect.
Time stamp ?
Anyone who loves j Kyrgios should be ashamed of themselves....
@RawLu it's fun, entertaining and harmless ... lighten up lol
One the hardest hitting matches Ive ever seen - the power and control was just amazing from both players. When he's on Kyrgios could beat anyone.
@jjgreek1 I think just for next year's grass season as that's NK's best surface, but he does need to dial it down before someone important in the tennis world Federer maybe speaks out against NK's bullying of officials, spectators, an d Opponents.
Just unbelievably gutsy to pull the drop shot on match point as he couldve easily gone down the line, chef d'oeuvre
@Shrek E comment ty
I agree with Tsitsipas - he's a bullying personality, with a bullying style of tennis!
Man... Kyrigos looks unbeatable when he actually wants to win. He makes it look so easy.
@Krish oh, his touch and feel are impressive, don't get me wrong, but he perhaps doesn't have the best touch in the top 100 while De Minaur is the fastest and most agile player in the top 100. That's what I meant, there is no taking away from Nick's touch, it's magnificent.
Stefanos couldn't even break against Nick 😂😂😂😂
@maynard makin I only listen real mothers..
@Praful Yadav and also he was down 0 40 in his game in 4th set and several break points in other games.. Nooby variety..
@turk500 go back 2 sleep..
He truly is the bad boy of tennis and he loves every minute of it.
@P DL bros not even 30 stop trippin
Why is he the bad boy of tennis? He just happens to yell and express his frustrations.
Hiding his receding fake hair with a cap, don't think he is having the time of his life lol.
@Shrek E comment MVP man
@CSKN I he didn't give a feck he would not open his mouth so frequently.
Well done Nick. Huge win. Clearly capable of anything, as long as he is in control of his temperament and stays focussed.
absolutely Peter, that' s the point !
Yea, and that's why he'll never do great things.
He never has and never will be in control of his temperament and is an embarrassment to Australians and Australian tennis - I don’t care how good he is, he should ‘grow up’ and behave like a civilized human being. Pathetic.
@Chris Kalikas he already did win a doubles slam though
@Shrek E comment MVP
We should all come to stop saying “imagine if he was consistent” or “imagine how good he’d be if he wasn’t as erratic” and accept this guy with all his flaws because the tennis and entertainment he brings us is unmatched.
@Mehdi ACHOUBA absolutely unmatched. Class of his own.
Frankly, in the boring tennis that it's the Nadal world, Nick is a breath of fresh air... Why should all the fun only be in exhibition matches?!
Kyrgios. How many Grand Slams did he win? Winners win. By being better, and being the better person. Nick’s legacy is insignificant. Compared to the true winners. Federer, Nadal, Djoko.. 20+ grand slams. Kyrgios? A footnote.
Nah imagine if he actually cared
@dblog well idk we get consistency from many many other players and I think a little entertainment is well and good
This is exactly what we all wanted drama and quality match . Kyrgios doing his things, Tsitsipas smacking the ball in the crowd, aiming Kyrgios twice and returning an underarm serve that again almost went into the crowd . I knew it Tsitsipas recent calm behaviour wouldn't last long 😂 but he showed he can play well on grass. Medvedev surely enjoyed the circus tonight 🐻
@Sanne V Oh yes, while we're at it let's talk about the sky being blue, bananas being yellow and poo being really dirty.
@arfsnm dgn hahahah
@Sanne V Speak for yourself. I for one want exactly what we got in the match, and I'm pretty sure viewer ratings will tell a similar story. There's boring conventional non-dramatic tennis being played out everyday, but it's matches like this that shine out.
@Google made me do it then also point to kyrgios behavior, pretty much always except at laver cup...
@Sanne V Okay, I won't say Tsitsipas has temper problems. I'll just point to those balls he's shot at other players for the entire tour so far.
This wimbledon is so serious as long kyrgios takes it serious. Kyrgios sends a message to the top order after so long time. Well done man ✌️💪🏽👏🏻
nadal still clear
Such a great entertainer. I love the bad boy stuff. Just makes him even more interesting to watch with a few laugh chucked in there as well. Brilliant!
I'm sure his ex-girlfriend loved the bad boy stuff, too, when he was bashing her face in in December 2021.
drama aside, this was good tennis
tennis aside, this was good drama
Greek Tennis Malaka!
drama makes it more interesting, gives the game character.
the closest thing we'll get to an atp grudge match
Tsitsipas hitting the ball at his opponent several times and into the crowd yet calls his opponent a bully. lol
Why did they cut Tsitsipas hitting at Kyrgios in this highlight? Come on. Can't find it anywhere even though I saw it live.
@MANOS KOSMAS yet here he is, answering :)))))
δε σας ρωτησαμε
Dude is a drama king to the max.
For the first time in my life I’m actually beginning to think Kyrgios might win this tournament lol.
he came damn close haha
@P DL too bad Nadal couldn't play and he made It to the finals
@CHill Tennis Entertainment Kyrgios was at the pub until 4 am that day. He just said so in his most recent interview. Look up 2014 Wimbledon Championships Nadal vs Kyrgios 4th Round.
@Scharnhorst121 Look up 2019 Wimbledon Championships Nadal vs Kyrgios 2nd Round.
@CHill Tennis Entertainment yeah ofc because Nick is not quality grass player right Nadal fans are too funny if they believes that Nadal has a chance againts Nick on grass
its insane how much force he can generate from nothing on his forehands
when Nick's enjoying the tennis, and playing loose, relaxed, he can beat anyone.
This match was insane, amazing performance from both, but Kyrgios is my most favourite player, his trick shots are insane and beautiful to watch, so big congrats
@Shrek E comment hahahha
Both players were at the risk of disqualification. Great tennis, not so great behavior.
Tsitsipas was crazy.. Almost hit audience twice this match... I am breaking my hand to understand how he was not defaulted 🤔😳
@bellabana Nick hit the ball twice into the crowd in the last tournament he played. Lost a point and a game eventually. No disqualification. Also almost hit the ball boy throwing his racquet after his loss to Nadal earlier this year. The ball boy had to leap out the way from his racquet .
If it had been Kyrgios that hit the ball into the crowd nearly hitting the person in anger he would’ve been immediately defaulted yet Tsitsipas got away with it twice, a double standard and pure hypocrisy! Then afterward at his press conferences Tsitsipas reeked of sour grapes, calling Nick a bully, saying he was dangerous, so bitter because he lost to Kyrgios twice in the last two weeks despite being No.4 in the world while is Nick is ranked at 40.
@Shrek E comment hahaha
@Saisagar Tata skini https://youtu.be/a1j9owBuwdQ
Just love watching kyrgios play.Such ease in shot making.Whats remarkable is that he doesn't give enough of his time for 🎾.Just imagine what he could do if he fully commits to training
NICK KYRGOIS! TOO TALENTED. LOVE HIM!
Most important win of Kyrgios career, has a clear run to the semi finals and then who knows, we know he raises his level against Nadal and Djokovic and it’s his favourite surface. It really could be his year.
@keen learner I don't know, maybe never, but there's a 0.01 percent chance
Nick hasn't faced an in-form Novak before. Despite the h2h, I think Novak has the upper-hand. Kyrgios will need a miraculous performance to beat him, but its not impossible.
@keen learner it's pretty easy to see him beating his next opponent and then he's got great chances against Nadal on grass (if they meet). If Djokovic gets through Alcaraz or Sinner (depending) then it's not hard to see this draw happening.
Nich really showed how much winning means to him especially in Wimbledon because he has a decent chance of winning this tournament if he enjoys the battle and fights until the end.
For no points
At one point I was thinking that it would end in a fight on the court😂
@Vincent Chauvet Yeah sure. That's not the point here, don't go off topic. Thing is that people don't need to hype up a disrespectful person
@Sanne V so whilst the term is often used more broadly socio-politically, I did in fact use it correctly here xx
@Vincent Chauvet That has nothing to do with the 'establishment'. Please don't use that word randomly without knowing what it is. I can see the double standards, but that is because he has built his reputation over the years, so I also understand umpires look closer to Kyrgios. Yes, maybe that's not always fair but very often, he really looks for it as well. As an umpire I can imagine it's difficult to lead a match where Kyrgios is playing. And in this comment section I see a way bigger double standard here with people hating on Stefanos for the few mistakes he makes but hyping up Kyrgios who often just disrespects basically everyone.
@Sanne V im not saying he doesn't tread on the line with his treatment of officials / linesmen, though I think he often has a point which he expresses too emotively. however i think there are certain clear double standards in the way he is treated to the way somebody like Tsitsipas is treated by the establishment. I cannot even imagine what would have unfolded if Kyrgios had blatantly targeted Stefanos and launched balls directly into the stands.
@Vincent Chauvet it's not about swearing, in my country we always swear. It's about minimum of respect. If disrespecting and scolding and being annoyed is the norm.. look at him after the match, hd was much nicer just like his fellow australians
As a Greek-Australian I sat watching with enjoyment the pure chaos that these two produced. Both are worthy of their Greek heritage
@eva kovacs It's theatre, don't exaggerate. What did Nick do that was so wrong?
So enjoyment of pure chaos is what tennis is about? Very disillusioning. There should be a tennis blood tournament, for unfair players and audience.
Now that Kyrgios is winning everybody is on the "its just who he is" and the "I never doubted his talent" band wagon.
@Calamityj lol final
Calamityj … change name to clammyjerk pronto please 🤡
Bro he’s fun to watch regardless if he’s winning or not lmao
Nick is pure talent. I love watching him play.
He built different
Nick is undeniably one of the most talented tennis players there is. His greatest opponent will always be himself.
@Kushal Bajracharya ok my bad
@Maguire *one of
Lmao I guess Federer didn’t exist
The TV director or any responsible person who decided not to show the handshake (and keep showing the players' box forever instead) in the live broadcast should get immediately fired. That was one of the worst TV screwups ever.
@italkcrab What drama did they avoid by not showing the handshake? Doesn't make any sense. It was just a lapse of judgement, there is no excuse. There is often drama in many other matches and they still show the handshake, this is absolutely no reason not to show it. Never. It makes sense when they don't show invaders on the court, but not showing the handshake is just braindead.
@Pierre B Censorship for not showing a pointless handshake? lol Yeah, suuure.
@J. M. There was some drama/heat during the match. They were hitting to the body and the audience etc. They probably didn't show to avoid any more drama. I think its a good call.
@Jockuptown tiki https://youtu.be/a1j9owBuwdQ
Nick possesses a special kind of brilliance for this sport with the added bonus of being able to deflate the pompous, elitist odor that permeates the sport, especially at Wimbledon. He's certainly the most highly skilled rebel the sport has ever known and on this day, he left an indelible mark on all witnesses, with the exception of Tsisipas's coach, who remained in a cadaverous state throughout
@greatredchicken I won't. The ban is typical and completely absurd. So is Middleton.
@Study with Karan I was referring to the younger looking coach sitting next to the father. Look at the replays. He never moved once over the three hours. When conscious goes by the name of Mark Philipoussis (???)
I think that his coach , which is his father is doing the same mistake as Djokovic's father did. They don't realise that their absured reactions get telecasted and it gradually affects the reputation of the player itself. Maybe he does realise chooses to do nothing about it.
Indeed. We should not forget that Russian and Belarusian players are not allowed just because of Kate Middleton
The level of talent that kyrgios has is just impeccable. I wonder where he would have reached today had he been more disciplined in the sport.
Kyrgios is on a mission. This could be his breakthrough
Tsitsipas played exceptionally good. Kyrgios's first serve made the difference
Great to see Kyrgios playing to the level of the talent he's so often shown hints of.
Job well done Kyrgios 👏, that was amazing.
I was there the atmosphere in the court no 1was electric, never seen anything like it, what a showman kyrgios is well done to Tsitsi
Great to see him this focused. I truly hope he wins Wimbledon
Tsitsi tried 3 times!!! to hit Nick with the ball and two more he sent it to the stands out of frustration. If Nick did this the press would be going wild about his bad character…
There was no HANDSHAKE!!
The only player getting booed in this match was Tsitsi. One of the few times he didn't look angry was when he thought he might win by default when Kyrgios slipped and seemed hurt.
Ο Κύργιος το έκανε να φαίνεται εύκολο. Διότι έπαιξε όπως ακριβώς χρειαζόταν. Είχε την δυνατότητα να το κάνει.
These days Kyrgious has stepped up to the next level. I agree he is unstoppable now.
I love how Kyrgios has the crowd support 😅
So finally when Nick found love of his life, he found himself in tennis. Big ups
I know he has the talent to win more often, its just timing and i think he likes where he is, but with effort like this he will add more to his collection
When he's in the zone, he's something special.
1. Did this Epic, highly contentious, and some say borderline vicious match, officially establish a real tennis rivalry between Kyrgios and Tsitsipas?: YES 2. Did Kyrgios talk and complain to the officials far too much during the match?: YES 3. Did Stefanos intentionally try to hit Kyrios with the ball several times?: YES 4. Did Stefanos get caught up in the competitive emotion from Nick, hit a ball into the crowd possibly deserving a "Default" like Novak got 2 yrs ago?: YES 5. Did all the complaining and fussing seem to make Kyrgios play better?: YES 6. Was Tsitsipas ' tennis quality lowered by these emotional outburst he allowed Kyrgios to get him caught up in?: NO
Why did i feel like this was boxing match, without them actually hitting each other!!😅😅
Tsitsipas actually hitted kyrgios😂
Even if he don't win I'm sure Australia will be proud of his effort
I always believed what Nick is capable of... he's showing it here
After beating Tsitsipas while also never losing a match on his serve. How can anyone deny that Krygios is the real deal right now and he is also a contender to win it all.
Espectacular kyrgios y también espectacular el partido entre los dos bad boys del circuito. Bravo!
When he's in a right mindset Nick is easily Top 5.
@Thibaut Sprengers if he’s in the right ‘mindset’ Kyrgios is definitely top 5 on hardcourt as he’s beaten all the top players on that surface, especially if it’s a fast court. Unfortunately they make the courts so slow now.
@Martin Paniceres I'm saying he is top-5 on grass. On hardcourt Medvedev, Zverev, Nadal, Djokovic, Alcaraz are definitely better.
@Horst Günther tasak https://youtu.be/a1j9owBuwdQ
@Peter Taylor if they all were fit and doing their best, I guess nadal, djokovic, medwefev, (maybe Federer) and probably some of the new guys like sinner or alcaraz could put up a fair fight to kyrgios…
I think most professional tennis players would agree he'd be top 3-5 in the world with the right mindset and dedication.
even though Kyrgios is a loose cannon he's still a joy to watch when he plays like this, unreal game of tennis aswel great from both players!
Nice and clear highlights from Wimbledon. Nice presentation
Yes we love Kyrgios! Bravo all the way! 💖💖💖
Красава Кирьос! Очень рад за него!!!
Nick's the only one who backed Novak in January, so karma might organise Djokovic vs Kyrgios wimbledon final. Can't wait🇦🇺🇷🇸
Wow! What a win! Congrats Kyrgios!! 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Kyrgios is just amazing. He has had a lot of issues in his life because of the world we live in, the social media and all of the pressure put on him. However, I think we are seeing the happiest and thus more focused Nick ever. Hope he makes a deep run
he’s just so good it’s a joke
Awaiting Nick consistency...Awesome talent
Tsitsipas there are shots that should have killed the opponent for the first time during the game but he always softly plays the ball instant of finishing and always the opponent does what he was supposed to do and take points from him
this man have the talent and an amazing entertainer, hope kyrgios proceed further
Kyrgios' fluid hand work in this match is one of a kind!
I really want to watch the full match again right now....What a excellent match! 🤡🤡love both Stefanos💯 and Nicholas👻
Nick Kyrgios, the tennis's Happy Gilmore
Kyrgios is an absolutely superstar!
Kyrgios has so much talent, enough talent to mix it with the top players in the world if he's switched on.
That ship sailed like 5 years ago. This is the one major where he can make it past the 3rd round.
Saving multiple 0-40 downs was impressive by nick
