Wow, this almost brought tears to my eyes! I credit this man for keeping me sane (and probably alive) in my teens. His music was my safe place. I'd sit in my bedroom or under the dining room table (odd place, I know), plug in my headphones and lethis voice wisk me away.

Watched an old interview, where he said, he wrote this song, including the saxophone part when he was only 17! I get this as I, too, wrote songs, and music, in my head with all the parts too, when I was 16 and 17 years old. Tapping it on cheap tape recorders, and doing all the parts with a guitar and flute and singing all three harmony parts. However, my dad pushed me into the medical field. So I have a book of written songs, and my guitar sits in a corner. A road not traveled. Songs unsung. Now I am pushing 60, I am glad I did NOT take that road, when I see how awful it was for George Michael in the end, dying alone, sad and depressed. I am happy, saved, and loved, and know Jesus. I am happier.
