That takedown by Metcalf has got to be one of the all-time greatest "hustle" plays I've ever seen.

Then you should look up Larry Allen running down an interception.

Every play the Seahawks run should be Metcalf on a fly. Just throw it out there. He's faster than most DBs and certainly bigger. He and Derrick Henry defy the rules of physics when they run...so big, but so, so fast!

I bet he wouldn't make that same play today though. Dude got the big head now.

And Ben watson taking down champ Bailey at the 1 yard line in the playoffs at mile high that one year is up there as well. I think that was around 2005ish

YUP, as soon as he saw the pick, he turned it on! dude was on the goaline had to change directions and sprint from almost a complete stand still, and chased him down..... That play is absolutely nuts on so many levels.

Great compilation! Shame so many plays from the 60s-80s are lost except the legendary ones like the Steve Young run, Barry Sanders etc. Lotta "of all time" compilations are really just the last 15-20 years but probably because there's a lot better coverage for the NFL and sports in general now. Lynn Swann's catch in the superbowl, Mark Bavaro carrying 6 defenders, any of Jim Brown's highlights, Lawrence Taylor bullrushing and sacking with one arm, you name it are all time greats too!

The perpendicular QB throw was also done by Carson Wentz in 2017 but he actually completed it. I believe it was against the Seahawks. His plays ls that season were worthy of career highlights.

Desean Jackson's punt return against the Giants for a TD as time ran out in the 4th quarter to cap a comeback after being down three TD's should have been in this video. Jackson initially dropped the punt, picked up the ball and began walking then literally ran through the entire Giants defense and had enough time to run parallel to the goal line before stepping into the end zone as time ran out for the win.

I remember in a pre-season game versus the saints, the eagles Bobby Howard jumped over a receiver doing a somersault and intercepting the ball. The most incredible athletic feat I ever saw and it was a pre-season game.

That DK chasedown at 6:47 is just pure dk. insane speed and strength and I'm sure he was full of adrenaline. 32 knew he was in for it when he looked back.

9:50 no doubt one of the best passes in the NFL, it hurt watching Mahomes put in so much work and be so good just for the rest of the chiefs to under deliver

That Mahomes horizontal pass is the most impressive thing I've ever seen in a game. Literally parallel to the ground and he throws a perfect strike that bounces off his own receiver's helmet. Absolutely insane.

It went thru the defenders hands into the receivers. It was a desperate play because they sucked that game.

No clue how none of Larry Fitzgerald's insane one-handed catches or diving catches or his OT run against the Packers didn't made this list

I was there when watson dodged 2 defenders and avoided the sack. It was the most amazing sports moment I had ever seen in person.

There were clearly some outstanding plays in this montage, but this really could have been a 50% or better Barry Sanders highlight film and nobody would have been able to say a thing. The fact that there was only one play of his in here is a bit of a travesty. That man on literally any other team would have been the far and away greatest RB in the history of the league. It’s a damned shame his talent was wasted in Detroit.

It's a passing league now, and these receivers are crazy athletic (although I still think the gloves are a big part. Those things are like high-powered magnets). But I still believe my favorite thing to see on offense is when a running back dances and fights his way through a swarm of defenders.

I agree with you. Remove the gloves and many of these are just incomplete passes. I'm old and can remember Biletnikoff and all the "stick 'em" he had to help catch the ball. I think he and Lester Hayes must have gone through a ton of this stuff each year.

You can't call it MOPOAT w/o including 1) Eric Metcalf's MNF TD juke against Cincinnati when he was w/ Cleveland and 2) Philadelphia's Randall Cunningham ducking under a sack attempt from Buffalo's Bruce Smith in his own end zone and lofting a pass midfield to Fred Barnett who takes it in for a 95 yard TD.

Heck yeah. Cunningham had is spidey senses working hard that play. Don't think he even saw Bruce Smith just felt him.

Need James Harrison's Super Bowl TD, big man took it endzone to endzone. I guess it'd be hard to get all of Polamalu's, gotta spread the love. I think his INT against SD was just a bit more impressive, as that was fingertips away from being incomplete. Can we just appreciate the fact that Tony Romo at least attempted to put himself in the way, simply to potentially avoid a safety? Some quarterbacks won’t even fall on a fumble when the Super Bowl is on the line. Also, it doesn’t matter if it’s Young, Cunningham, Vick, Jackson, Allen, or whoever, for some reason defenses just can’t stop mobile quarterbacks.
